Our Commitment
King Stalker Sport Fishing is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to make our website as usable and welcoming as possible.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA success criteria. We also align with the principles of the Accessible Canada Act (ACA) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
Accessibility Features
Our website includes the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements can be reached and operated using a keyboard.
- Skip-to-content link: A skip link is available on every page to bypass navigation and go directly to the main content.
- Alt text: Meaningful images include descriptive alternative text.
- Colour contrast: Text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast requirements.
- Resizable text: Text sizes are set in relative units so you can zoom in using your browser without breaking the layout.
- Form labels: Every form field has a visible, associated label.
- Focus indicators: Interactive elements have visible focus indicators for keyboard users.
- Reduced motion: Animations respect the user's "prefers-reduced-motion" system setting.
- Semantic HTML: We use proper headings, landmarks, and ARIA attributes to support screen readers.
- Responsive design: The site adapts to different screen sizes and orientations.
Conformance Status
We believe our website substantially conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We regularly review the site for accessibility issues and make improvements as standards and technologies evolve. While we strive for full compliance, some third-party embedded content (such as map services) may fall outside our direct control.
AODA and ACA Alignment
As an Ontario-based business, we respect the goals of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and work to make our goods, services, and facilities accessible. We also support the spirit of the federal Accessible Canada Act (ACA) in removing barriers for people with disabilities.
If your organization has specific accessibility requirements for a corporate charter or group event, please let us know when you book and we will do our best to accommodate you.
